The night a Niall Horan gig became something else entirely
Thousands of people filled a Brighton venue to see One Direction superstar Niall Horan, but only one of them was thinking about something else entirely.
When Millie got down on one knee, Leigh's answer was never in doubt. And from that night, the planning began. Their elegant wedding at Langton's House in Hornchurch led to the dance floor at Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club, where the evening was dressed in navy and blush pink from start to finish.
Leigh tied the knot in the beautiful Syndy by Julietta, a dress that crucially not only fitted like a glove, but it also had pockets too!
Leigh's Real Wedding at Langton's House
Leigh tells us about her wedding day journey, from that surprise proposal to finding the perfect dress.
How did you two meet?
We first met at work, became friends, and our relationship blossomed from there.
How did you get engaged?
We went to Brighton to see Niall Horan and Millie proposed there and then.
What was your favourite moment from the wedding?
Seeing Millie walk down the aisle to me.
Tell us all about your wedding dress!
I loved the fact that the dress made me look like I had a small waist and pulled me in at the right places and that it had pockets!
What was the general decor for your big day?
We had a navy and blush pink theme and everyone loved the finer details.
Do you have any advice for future Bellissima Brides?
Have no preconceived ideas, as on the hanger and on you are two different things. You'd be amazed how different a dress looks when you actually try it on for yourself.
Do you have any local suppliers you would like to recommend?
Tony Goddard at TG Tunes was our DJ. We got married at Langton's House, Hornchurch, and our reception was at Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club.
How was your Bellissima experience?
The overall experience was excellent; the whole team were fantastic and Amelia is so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be recommending Bellissima Weddings!
