Summer & Adam’s Dog-Friendly Wedding at Copdock Hall

When Summer walked down the aisle at Copdock Hall, her dream wedding came full circle in more ways than one. From a childhood school drawing that uncannily predicted her exact bridal look to including their beloved dog Winston, Summer and Adam’s celebration was filled with personal touches, romantic details, and genuine joy.

Having visited Bellissima Weddings eight years before when her sister chose her wedding dress with us, Summer always knew where she’d find 'the one'. Assisted by Robyn during her initial styling appointment and perfected by Dale during her fittings, Summer fell head over heels for Pippa by Morilee, a bridal gown featuring a structured, waist-defining bodice, romantic neckline, and an effortlessly flowing skirt.

Set against a crisp white and dusty blue palette, the couple’s big day was a masterclass in staying true to your story. Complete with a tennis ball station for guests’ pets and an emotional walk down the aisle with Winston! Summer and Adam created a day as unforgettable as it was uniquely theirs.

Summer & Adam's Real Wedding Q&A

1. How did you two meet?

We met on Tinder back in 2018 and had our first date at St Lawrence Beach.

2. How did you get engaged?

We got engaged in Florida after having dinner at the boathouse.

3. What was your favourite moment(s) from the wedding?

Being with my bridal party while getting ready, there is something truly special about girlhood. Showing my dad my dress. Seeing Adam at the ceremony and everything feeling like it had fallen into place and, of course, having Winston running down the aisle.

4. Tell us all about your wedding dress. What details do you love? How did it make you feel?

My dress was everything I dreamt of – quite literally! My friend reminded me of a picture I drew in school of me in a wedding dress, and it was pretty much Pippa by Mori Lee! I loved the corset/neckline and how it fitted and the skirt too; I loved how it flowed! Even though the dress was 'plain', I felt anything but plain on the day - it was perfection!

5. What was the general decor for your big day?

White and dusty blue with a sprinkle of dogs. Our table numbers were all named after our pets, past and present, and we had a tennis ball station for people to take home a gift for their own fur babies!

6. Do you have any advice for future Bellissima Brides?

Just be yourself and plan your day around your story! Planning a wedding can become all-consuming and sometimes overwhelming. Trying to consider all the recent trends and decide on what to have while balancing others' opinions is tough. But my advice is to remember why you are doing all of this in the first place.

I read somewhere that there will only be one day in your life when all the people you love are in one room together and that is your wedding day so enjoy that special event.

8. How was your Bellissima experience?

My experience was amazing from start to finish! I always knew I wanted to get my wedding dress from Bellissima Weddings after my sister got hers there 8 years ago! I felt so comfortable when I first came in to try on dresses, and Robyn was amazing at helping me pick out styles to try! Dale was also incredible during my fitting and ensured everything was perfect!

The whole atmosphere at Bellissima Weddings is so special, and every dress appointment was so special! Communication from the team was also amazing from my first appointment right up until now!
