WE ARE VERY PROUD OF OUR AWARDS THROUGH THE YEARS
At Bellissima Weddings, we have had some amazing years with some incredible achievements that we never could have believed were possible when we open our doors for the first time 22 years ago. Seeing our happy brides in their beautiful dresses on the big day is the ultimate accolade for us of course but also to be recognised by our peers in the industry simultaneously is something that is very special to us.
Bridal Buyer is the leading trade magazine in our industry and the bible for any retailer or designer, and their yearly awards night is a very special occasion. Through the years we have been recognised by them on multiple occasions as leaders in bridal customer service, something which we have always prided ourselves in - because choosing your wedding dress is an event many girls have been dreaming of forever, so it should be special! Alongside these recognitions we were also very proud to receive the award for Best Longstanding Bridal Retailer in 2017 and also The Best British Store! Amazing!
Alongside the Bridal Buyer awards there also The Wedding Industry Awards, an equally special and prestigious event to be a part of. We are very honoured to have been awarded Best Retailer by TWIA on multiple occasions, both regionally and nationally - most recently at their 2020 awards in London where we picked up the aforementioned award! We certainly drained the bar dry after that big win!
There are so many other big nights and awards in bridal and we have also been recognised by many other industry experts such as The International Wedding Awards, Essex county awards and the lovely people at GoHen put us in their Top 50 bridal retailers in the country! Having received so many awards through the years, these days, Bellissima's owner, Laura, finds herself recruited to judging panels which naturally means the store no longer enters.
To be a wedding shop you need bridal designers - and we wouldn't be where we are today without Enzoani, who have made us Platinum retailers for the last ten years! Something unheard of at their HQ! This type of accolade means a lot to us as it shows the level of trust they have put into us to sell their beautiful gowns in the right way. Alongside Enzoani we are also very proud to be Gold Retailers with Maggie Sottero for the last four years and one of the UK's top stockists of Mori Lee, with whom we've had a proud association since the day we opened.
As we mentioned before, awards are amazing and a wonderful recognition of all our hard work, but it's you, our lovely brides, who make it all worthwhile - so do keep sending us your wedding pics! It's what gets us up in the morning!
