Fast forward eleven and a half years of building a life together, and the ultimate plot twist arrived during a family escape to Rome. Under the Italian sun, with their little boy in tow acting as the sweetest co-conspirator, Jake romantically popped the question.

How did you two meet?

We saw each other at college, and then I got a Facebook request! All the way back in 2011!

How did you get engaged?

We were in Rome with our little boy after only 11 and half years together!

What was your favourite moment(s) from the wedding?

Everyone coming together to celebrate us. It rained all day but it didn’t stop us.

Tell us all about your wedding dress. What details do you love? How did it make you feel?

Going into the shop, I didn’t know what to expect, as I had a certain dress in my mind which wasn’t in stock. That being said, I had plenty of pictures from Bellissima's online collection that I wanted to try on but as soon as I slipped on my dress, I fell in love with it. I hadn’t seen anything like it before and it felt like it went perfectly with the vibe we were going for. It also made me feel comfortable, which was the biggest thing for me.

What was the general decor for your big day?

London black tie chic!
