A childhood romance that stands the test of time is something truly special. For Kendra and Jayme, what started as teenage sweethearts way back when has grown into a lifelong partnership, something we're sure they never would've imagined back in year 9! From a magical proposal on Snowdon to a rustic-meets-modern celebration at Apton Hall, their wedding day was everything they’d hoped for, and Kendra's dress looked pretty fabulous too!

How did you two meet?
We met at secondary school in 2011 and started dating in Year 9 and have been together ever since!
How did you get engaged?
We got engaged on Snowdon during a belated anniversary trip to Wales. As we hiked back down at sunset, I turned around from looking at the view to find Jayme on one knee. It was just the two of us — absolutely perfect.
What was your favourite moment from the wedding?
Walking down the aisle, seeing Jayme waiting at the top, and being surrounded by all our favourite people. It was such an emotional moment — one we had both waited so long for.
Tell us all about your wedding dress!
I still can’t get over my dress (D3460 from Essense of Australia) — I absolutely love it. When I first went to Bellissima, I had something completely different in mind, but this gown was just so me. It’s a beautifully classic style with mesh side panels… and it even has pockets! I felt so beautiful wearing it and had so many compliments.
What was the general decor for your big day?
Our decor was a mix of modern and rustic, which suited our wedding venue, Apton Hall, perfectly.
Do you have any advice for future Bellissima brides?
My advice for future Bellissima brides is to trust the incredible team — they truly are amazing. Their warmth, expertise, and genuine care mean they’ll always have your best interests at heart, making sure you feel your absolute best on your special day.
Do you have any local suppliers you’d like to recommend?
All of our Essex wedding suppliers were incredible.

How was your Bellissima experience?
My Bellissima experience was so much fun from start to finish. The team was always there to answer any questions, no matter how small, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special shout-out to Dale and Amelia for being truly amazing and always coming to check in during fittings!!
