Some love stories begin with a swipe. Alice and her now-husband wrote theirs at the school gates, growing from childhood sweethearts into a couple whose story feels, in the very best way, like something from a film. Which, as it turned out, their engagement kinda was.

Standing before the Trevi Fountain in Rome, one of the world's most iconic backdrops, Alice's now-husband got down on one knee. But the real magic? He had quietly orchestrated the arrival of their family, who appeared as a complete surprise! It was an unforgettable moment that was intimate, grand, and set the tone for everything that followed.

How did you two meet?

We met at school, truly childhood sweethearts.

How did you get engaged?

My now-husband proposed in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome, surrounded by our family, who he'd secretly organised to surprise me. It was perfect.

What were your favourite moments from the wedding?

It had to be walking down the aisle with my dad, having my mum help me get ready, and of course, marrying the love of my life.

Tell us all about your wedding dress!

My wedding dress was simply gorgeous. The style was Anastasia by Maggie Sottero, and my favourite parts were the beautiful train and the lace detail on the front. It made me feel beautiful and it had everything I had dreamt of since I was a little girl!

What was the general decor for your big day?

Our decor was black and white with powder/sky blue and hints of peach and lots of flowers!

Do you have any advice for future Bellissima Brides?

My advice would be to trust your stylist implicitly! Danielle was amazing from start to finish. She knew what I was looking for, but she also suggested some different styles that she thought would work. All of them were beautiful, and she ultimately pulled out Anastasia, which wasn’t on my list. It was obviously the perfect choice!
