Childhood sweethearts Lauren and Tom tied the knot in style, deep in the Essex countryside.
If you're currently on the hunt for wedding venues in Essex, you need to add That Amazing Place to your visit list because, as the name suggests, it's amazing! Not only does it look aesthetically pleasing, with its chic design and luxurious decor. But it's also got history. The building is grade 2 listed, and actually dates back to the 15th century. The venues' feeling of the past is effortlessly blended with the modern design to give the whole space and grounds an exceptional feel.
That Amazing Place was the wedding venue of choice for our bride, Lauren, and her now husband, Tom. These two lovebirds really made the space their own, decorating the venue and outside areas with a uniquely elegant touch. A touch that extended to Lauren's dress, the stunning Magnolia from Blue by Enzoani. The mermaid shape suited her silhouette just perfectly, while the subtle glitter tulle and lace used throughout ensured her overall look was enchanting.
The Real Wedding of Lauren & Tom at 'That Amazing Place' in Essex
We're so pleased to be sharing a few pictures from Lauren and Tom's wedding, along with some wise words from the bride herself!
How did you guys meet?
We met at school and have been together since we were 16!
When did you get engaged?
We got engaged 8 years ago in New York
What was your favourite moment from the big day?
Being surrounded by all of our family and friends, I didn’t stop smiling all day.
What was your wedding dress shopping experience like?
I went through quite a few dresses before I found my dress, and I actually left the shop without it the first time. But I knew I had to return to Bellissima, so I went back a few weeks later for a retry, and that time I knew it was 'the one'. It just made me feel so lovely & I loved wearing it. The train was the most amazing thing. I felt like a proper bride!
What was the overall look of your wedding?
We went for quite a neutral decor, as I'd always wanted my wedding to be filled with white flowers. Our florist did an incredible job, and created just the look I'd been dreaming of! My bridesmaids wore pale gold, and they matched the overall theme so perfectly.
Do you have any advice for future Bellissima brides?
I would say, go in with an open mind. I ended up choosing a dress I really didn’t think I would before trying it on. Which is why I'd suggest trying on lots of styles to find out what’s right for you.
