Backdropped by candles & mirrors, these university lovebirds threw a very romantic and natural celebration at a stunning 16th-century mansion.
If you were dating during any of the lockdown waves, we feel for you. It must have been so clandestine. Navigating regulations, stretching 'social bubbles' to their limits and meeting strangers on park benches like you're spies in a Cold War covert operation. It can't have been easy. But potentially thrilling, nonetheless, we're sure. Thankfully, for our couple, Molly and Jack, they met right before Covid turned the world upside down. Missing out on the dilemmas of dating during a pandemic. And instead were unceremoniously thrown together under lockdown rules. A restriction that would change their lives forever, and one day lead to their wonderful wedding at Leez Priory in Chelmsford, Essex.

We're so pleased to be sharing a couple of pictures from Molly & Jack's big day at the Leez Priory wedding venue, along with a few words from our bride.
How did you two meet?
We met on Tinder while we were both living away from home, just before COVID hit. Ended up getting stuck in Jack's uni house during the first lockdown and never looked back.
How did you get engaged?
Jack proposed during a weekend away with our friends at the top of Mount Snowdon in Wales. I somehow had no idea, even though all of our friends knew!
What was your favourite moment(s) from the wedding?
Listening to my dad's band play our first dance, and ending the night with all our friends absolutely blaring Love Story by Taylor Swift!
Tell us all about your wedding dress. What details do you love, how did it make you feel?
My wedding dress was absolutely gorgeous, and I was so excited to wear it. The train was stunning with the lace detail trailing all the way down, and I really enjoyed having it fluffed for all the pictures. It fitted me perfectly, and it got so many compliments from our guests. I felt like a princess all day and didn't want to take it off.
How did you style your big day?
We went very minimalistic, basing a lot of our decor around candles and mirrors. Most of our decor and accessories were hand made by us, or family and friends, which just added so much personality to the venue.
We had a white and green theme running through the soft parts of the decor such as fabrics and flowers, just to keep with the natural, classic vibe of the venue.
Do you have any advice for future Bellissima Brides?
The best advice I can think of is don't stress on the morning of your wedding. What will be, will be, and there's nothing you can do so close to the time. Just enjoy the day and spend as much of it with your partner as you can, the day will go so fast!
Do you have any local suppliers you would like to recommend?
We highly recommend our wedding venue, Leez Priory. The grounds are gorgeous and private, the staff are so helpful, professional, and organised. Plus, their package options fit any style of wedding and there is accommodation on-site.
We were so well looked after for the three days we were there across our wedding and, if it weren't for them, the day would not have gone so smoothly.
How was your Bellissima experience?
I could not have asked for a better experience with Bellissima. The moment I found my dress (Artemis by Mori Lee) came after trying on 24 other gowns that day. Lily picked it out, and it was not from my wish list, but she just knew it was the one. Even Mariana, my seamstress, said as soon as she saw me, she knew I'd picked the perfect dress.
Everyone made me feel so confident in my choice, and really feel like a princess. There was no stress throughout the process, and I always knew I could call or email if I had any questions. Thank you.
