How did you two meet?

Chris and I have known each other for over twenty years, but we bumped into each other about five or six years ago at our children’s football matches and the rest is history!

How did you get engaged?

Chris took me to Santorini and proposed in the most beautiful restaurant with the most amazing views. It was absolutely perfect.

What was your favourite moment from the wedding?

I have so many favourite moments; it really was perfect from start to finish. My own personal favourite was when I surprised Chris with a recorded message that was played at the start of the ceremony, just before I walked down the aisle. It was telling him how much I loved him and how much I couldn’t wait to be his wife. It was a really lovely moment.

Tell us all about your wedding dress. What details do you love? How did it make you feel?

I loved every single part of my wedding dress. The fit, the way it made me feel, and most importantly, how it was just the most perfect choice for me. I think if you could sum me and my personality up in a dress, then this was it, 100%.

What was the general decor for your big day?

We put together a very simple blush pink and peony colour theme. It was so understated and beautiful, which is just how we wanted it to be.

Do you have any advice for future Bellissima Brides?

Make sure, 100%, that your wedding dress is the right one. I think ultimately you just know, but I made the mistake of buying one elsewhere that I felt so unsure about. I ended up looking for another, which I am so glad I did because I found this most incredible dress at Bellissima Weddings and it was 'the ONE'. I just knew the moment I put it on.

Also, just take in every moment of the big day because it passes by you in a flash. Find time for you and your groom, because ultimately this day is about you and your love together.

I cannot recommend Bellissima Weddings enough. They made the whole search for the perfect dress the most wonderful experience. I can also highly recommend The Rochford Hotel as a venue. The staff, food, rooms – everything was just perfect.

How was your Bellissima experience?

My Bellissima Weddings experience has been one of my favourite parts of this whole wedding process. Lucy, who helped us find the dress, was just gorgeous and she made it all so fun and lovely for me and my friends. I only wish we had gone there first, but everything happens for a reason and this was obviously how my wedding journey was meant to be.
