What is a bridal designer day?
So, what exactly is a designer day? Think of it as a VIP party for wedding dresses! For one day only, a designer lends us gowns we don't usually have on our rails (our American friends call it a trunk show). You try on the samples, and if you find THE ONE, we'll order you a brand-new gown.
And for this designer day, it's all about the florals! Veni's gowns are joining us for one Saturday only, hanging right alongside the Veni Infantino bridal collection we already stock and the rest of our wedding dress collection. So there's plenty to fall in love with! Have a peek at the floral gowns on our designer day collection page before you come.
Why meet Veni Infantino in person?
We’ll be honest, we’re a little bit starstruck! Veni is a big deal in the bridal world. Her gowns are worn by brides all over the world, and her label traces its roots back to a small London store in the 1950s. You can see that Italian, 1950s glamour all through her latest bridal collection, La Dolce Veni II.
Here's why we adore her. Veni tries on every single design herself (yes, every one!) to make sure it fits and feels comfortable. She only sells through independent boutiques like ours. And she loves a detachable detail! Sleeves, capes, collars, and even trains: several of the gowns below let you switch up your look between the ceremony and the dance floor.
On the day, Veni will be right here with us, giving advice and helping to style you. How often do you get to ask the woman who designed your wedding dress how she imagined it being worn? Now's your chance!
Blush and 3D floral wedding dresses
Aadhya
Blush and ivory 3D flowers sit on sheer tulle, so the petals look as if they've landed on your skin. A sweetheart neckline and A-line skirt keep it easy to wear, and you can try it full length or in the tea-length version for a shorter, playful hem.
Aggie
A sleek strapless corset on top, then a blush tulle ballgown skirt covered in oversized 3D rosettes. The bodice stays clean so the skirt can do the talking, and every step sets those rosettes moving.

Acireale
Multicoloured 3D blossoms cover a blush A-line, with an off-the-shoulder portrait neckline that frames your collarbones. The puddle train pools softly behind you, which is lovely in photos taken from the back of the aisle.

Ahuva
A corset ballgown scattered with ivory and light pink 3D flowers, finished with a choker. The lace portrait collar is detachable, so you can wear it for the ceremony and take it off for the evening.

Aurora
A strapless sweetheart ballgown with pastel 3D flowers on tulle. If you've always pictured a full skirt with a garden's worth of colour, start here.

Blue and colourful floral wedding dresses
Alidee
A two-piece with a peplum corset bodice embroidered in pastel blue and a full tulle skirt. Your something blue is built into the dress.

Harela
An ivory tulle ballgown with blue and green floral lace and sheer off-the-shoulder cap sleeves. From across a room it reads as classic ivory; up close, the colour comes through in the lace.

Apple
A beaded corset ballgown with blush, lilac and powder-blue 3D flowers and a floral choker. The beading under the flowers gives you sparkle as well as colour.

Halia
Halia comes in the Oyster/Red colourway, a combination few brides expect to see in a bridal boutique. An externally boned bodice and pleated waistband give it real structure, and the floral train is detachable, so you can go from aisle to dance floor without bustling.

Painted and printed floral wedding dresses
Aitana
A blush watercolour blossom print on Mikado, a crisp fabric with a soft sheen that holds a ballgown shape beautifully. A cowl off-the-shoulder neckline, box pleats and a detachable bow finish it.

Arabella
A crossover strapless neckline, a pleated skirt and a cathedral train, in two finishes. The size 6 sample has a hand-painted floral print, while the 12 is a textured botanical ivory for brides who want florals in a quieter voice.

Floral wedding dresses with sleeves or a sleeker line
Adele
Crepe fabric that skims the body, then a fishtail flaring into tulle with 3D flowers. A scoop neck and open back keep the front simple and save the drama for the hem and the walk away.

Adrienne
An ivory and blush 3D floral fit and flare with long sleeves, a choker and detachable swag sleeves, so one gown gives you several looks. A good one to try for a winter wedding, and if sleeves are on your list, our guide to long sleeve wedding dresses is worth a read.

How to book and get ready for our Veni Infantino Floral Designer Day
Book your place - Book online at bellissimaweddings.co.uk/book-your-appointment, call 01245 323 585 or email online@bellissimaweddings.co.uk. The £40 appointment fee covers you and up to four guests, plus a Bridgerton breakfast or afternoon tea.
Build your wishlist - Once your appointment is confirmed, we'll ask you to browse the designer day collection and start building a wishlist on our website for the day. We'll have those dresses ready for you when you arrive, but you're also very welcome to try something you see in-store on the day that you hadn't previously considered.
Choose your VIPs - Four guests is plenty. Bring the people whose opinion you'll actually want in the room.
Think about timing - A gown ordered at a designer event usually takes 12 to 16 weeks to arrive, and order times vary between designers. Our guide to how long it takes to get a wedding dress explains more, but also feel free to check with us when booking your appointment.
Have the budget chat first - Talk honestly with whoever is paying (even if that's you) before you arrive, so the day stays about the dresses. Bring shoes close to the heel height you're planning to wear on the big day too, along with appropriate underwear.
