If ever there was a bridal designer who could turn their hand to just about any style of gown, then I have to say, Mori Lee’s Madeline Gardner would be it.
From the traditionally elegant and classic gown to the modern, destination dress or an impeccably cut gown for the curvier bride, New York based Madeline just ‘gets’ what brides-to-be are looking for and does it with her eye on the cost without compromising the quality.
If you’re looking for a gown with a contemporary ‘on trend’ feel but that still maintains the essence of elegance, well, you might just have hit on it with Mori Lee – and I can say that with some authority as a former Mori Lee bride myself!
Born and bred in New Jersey and a graduate of the Fashion Institute of New York City, Madeline has designed for the company since 1985 and now creates bridal gowns to suit just about every style of ceremony and bride at her New York design studio.
Looking for a deeply romantic, floaty, lace gown with a train to die for? Mori Lee can oblige. Searching for a modern, boho but chic gown for a barefoot, island blessing? Mori Lee should be on your list. No idea what you want or what will suit you? Mori Lee is one of the best places to start.
Here in the shop, the girls and I love the label for the combinations of accent styles, intricate beading and use of lace and detailing – as well as the fact that they can be great value for money. This is an American label which really offers a great deal of ‘bang for your buck’ and can make you look and feel a million dollars on your big day for an awful lot less! We are one of Mori Lee’s ‘top ten’ stockists and have a huge range of their designs on our rails.
I was not the only member of Bellissima staff to walk down the aisle in Mori Lee – our current and former manager both tied the knot in one of Madeline’s designs and we all had the pick of the shop to choose from – that tells you something…
With over 60 years in the bridal business, Mori Lee is a worldwide name which also offers really well designed, flattering bridesmaids, prom and evening wear (well worth a look when you bring your maids for a visit – you won’t be disappointed and they will definitely thank you).
It’s no surprise to me that brides all over the world say ‘yes to the dress’ wearing Mori Lee – after all, I did!
